Kingman Sasquatch Hunt
If you're a fan of outdoor adventure, family
fun, or just a good old-fashioned game of hide-and-seek with a
cryptid twist,
the Sasquatch Hunt is an exciting blend of hiking and mystery that turns the
area's rugged trails into a playful quest for the elusive Bigfoot. It's a
thrilling chase that sharpens your observation skills while enjoying Arizona's
stunning desert-mountain scenery.
Participants get a Sasquatch Field Guide and swag bag, followed by an educational briefing from a local outdoor survival specialist. Then, it's game on, searching the the lower elevations of the park (from Recreation Area #1 to the Main Trailhead, covering up to 5 square miles in the Big Foot Hunt). Spot one of the hidden "Sasquatches" (costumed performers), and the first three finders per location snag special awards.
Family-friendly and accessible for all ages. The Little Foot Hunt is a gentle half-mile stroll ideal for kids or casual hikers, lasting about 3 hours, while the Big Foot version ramps up to over 5 hours for more adventurous souls. Everyone registered gets an event T-shirt (sign up by October 1st) and a unique participation medal.
