Breaking Free From the Trance

This month as we move into the holiday season I thought I would take some time off from the insane cultural trances that are causing society to spin out of control and spend some time on what I am grateful for.

First I am grateful that I can look at my weather app so I know what to expect. If it says cloudy, that’s an easy one. Stay inside and filter the air because they are out there spraying the skies to keep our planet safe.

Next I am grateful that we have independent journalists to bring us unfiltered truth or at least the ability to challenge the controlled narrative by a system that would never lie to us.I am also grateful for our leading Democratic politicians who want to take care of every illegal person in the USA so that everyday suffering Americans can see where their tax dollars are going.

Then I am grateful that we had an emerging system led by Palantir who is developing a system that will be able to foretell crimes before they happen. It’s really simple once we give them the power of mass surveillance and forget about our personal freedoms for the greater good.

The next one I’m not sure if I am grateful or not, however if all the major nuclear powers start testing again, you know, to protect them or us from the others with nuclear power all for the just and righteous cause of being a “deterrent” from bad actors, what could possibly go wrong?

UH-OH

George Orwell’s infamous book 1984 is basically the dystopian group chat we all accidentally joined and can’t mute. It’s the story of Winston Smith, a weary office drone in a world where Big Brother doesn’t just watch you—he fact-checks your every sigh, edits your memories, and decides what counts as “truth.” Privacy is extinct, individuality is illegal, and love is a thought crime. Sound far-fetched? Scroll through your phone permissions and try again.

Fast-forward to today: we voluntarily carry our own telescreens (hi, smartphones) and broadcast our daily routines to corporations that know more about us than our mothers. Algorithms feed us “truth” tailored to our biases, while outrage cycles, (aka: red flags, fake news, etc.),  keep us docile and distracted—doublethink disguised as engagement. Orwell’s Ministry of Truth would’ve drooled over TikTok’s data analytics.

The Thought Police? Rebranded as social media moderation and cancel culture—both sides convinced they’re protecting reality. Newspeak? We call it “rebranding” and “wordsmithing.” “War is peace” became “content moderation improves freedom,” and “ignorance is strength” lives on as “I don’t read the news—it’s too negative.”

Winston tried to rebel with love and diaries; we do it with protest hashtags and ironic memes—until the algorithm buries them. Orwell warned us about surveillance; we turned it into a lifestyle brand. 1984 isn’t our future—it’s our terms of service.

So my friends…  how do we break free from the onslaught of the never-ending cultural trance that is constantly gaslighting EVERYONE who is stuck in their belief systems? The answer is you must Question Everything, including everything you think to be true.

Although AI and chatgpt’s are creeping into our daily lives, remember that they are run on algorithms. And maybe you are as well. Question everything, every damn thing because the reality we know is fracturing faster than the Matrix can recalibrate.

I invite you to learn proper tools of how the mind works so you can determine what goes in and comes out. Visit www.SleepNow.com for ongoing virtual trainings that offer just that and maybe you’ll have something to be personally grateful for as well.
